Description
The ROTC Department at Jacksonville State University held an awards ceremony in memory of Donald McMillan in December 1966. McMillan was a 1961 graduate of JSU. Mrs. Donald McMillan accepted the decorations for her husband's heroic actions in Viet Nam. A plaque and scrapbook of letters from former classmates and professors was presented. Shown Colonel George D. Haskins is presenting an item to Mrs. Donald McMillan as Sergeant Raymond E. Baum stands near. Honorary Cadet Captains Susan Carter and Sandy Harris are each standing beside Mrs. Donald McMillan holding a child. The color guard is seen in the background.
