Description

A pre-orientation session was held at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) for incoming freshmen September 11, 1966. Dr. Harold Martin, minister of Highlands Methodist Church in Birmingham, delivered a message to incoming freshmen, parents, and guests in attendance inside Leone Cole Auditorium. President Houston Cole, Dean Theron Montgomery, Dean Miriam Jackson, and Dean Lawrence Miles spoke as well. Shown a singing group is performing on stage (left) as speakers are seated on stage (right).
