Description
Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) announced in the September 14, 1966 issue of the Collegian that final approval from the Economic Development Administration of a grant will help build a four story fifty classroom building. This new building was part of an expansion program planned to help upgrade student education in the northeast Alabama area. Shown here is President Houston Cole and another dignitary admiring a drawing for the new building as it hangs on the wall.
