The annual Jacksonville State Teachers College Morgan-Calhoun debate was held April 19, 1943 in Bibb Graves Hall. Shown with Calhoun Debate speakers are the three lovely flower girls who inspired them onto victory and presented each debater with a bouquet after his speech. Shown left to right are Charles Johnson, Marion Coffee, Bill Hamilton, Louise Benino, Waymon Strother, and Mary Elizabeth McCluer.
