Max Rafferty was a writer, educator, and politician who visited Jacksonville State University October 13, 1969 and spoke in the Student Commons Auditorium. At the time of his guest appearance he was also The State Superintendent of Public Instruction in California. Shown he squats on stage to speak with students before or after the speech.
