Newly formed Student Council at Jacksonville State Teachers College officers and members were installed in October 1942. Installed officers were Clay Brittain (president), Henrietta Sharpe (vice president), Mabel Duran (secretary), Frances Weaver (treasurer). Class representatives were Frances Kimball, Hascall Sharpe, Wynelle Riddle, Jane Tompkins, Morris Ratcliff, Josephine Shearer, Mrs. H.B. Mock, and Glenn Sides.
