Description

The annual Jacksonville State Teachers College Morgan-Calhoun debate was held May 2, 1942 in the new Jacksonville Recreation Center. Shown Dr. W.J. Calvert is presenting the debate trophy to Clay Brittain, Calhoun speaker, after the Calhoun Literary Society team was announced the winner. Opponents Wilma Williamson and Charlotte Mock as well as colleague Herschel Cribb look on.
