Mathematics Day was held October 4, 1969 at Jacksonville State University in the Student Commons Building. Elementary, junior, and senior high teachers were in attendance at the workshop. The keynote speaker was Joe Richardson. Ria Jane Chiepalich was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at JSU. Shown she stands among other attendees by the staircase.
