Jacksonville State University's Religious Emphasis Week began April 25, 1970 with the theme "Push, Pull, or get out of the Way." Right Reverend Joseph G. Vath, bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of Birmingham was the featured speaker who spoke Sunday night in the Student Commons Auditorium. Shown Rev. Vath stands with attendees inside the auditorium.
