Description
Dixon Hall became the seventh dormitory for men opened in 1966 at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University). Named for the late Alabama Governor Frank Dixon, the building was dedicated on September 12, 1966. Shown the family and guests gather during the dedication event inside the International House for a dinner. President Houston Cole is seated at the head of the table.
