Jan Garner, Jo Ellen Hooper, Carol Henderson, Sharon Lindsey, Pat Gilliland, and Kay Coley were students and Honorary Cadet Captains at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in the mid 1960s. In 1966-1967 Jan Garner was an F Co. Second Battalion Sponsor, Jo Ellen Hooper and Carol Henderson were both Pershing Rifles Sponsors, Sharon Lindsey was an A Co. First Battalion Sponsor, Pat Gilliland was an H Co. Second Battalion Sponsor, and Kay Coley was a D Co. First Battalion Sponsor. All are shown here in uniform standing together outside Self Hall.
