Description

Graduation mid year ceremonies were held at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) on Saturday night, May 28, 1966 in which 197 candidates received degrees in Leone Cole Auditorium. Bishop Kenneth Goodson of the Methodist church spoke as the baccalaureate speaker. Here an unidentified woman is shown standing behind the podium as President Houston Cole (left) and Colonel George D. Haskins (right) can be seen seated in the background.
