The Student National Education Association at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) had a membership of 250 in 1966-1967, the largest chapter in the state of Alabama at the time. Here are the officers of the 1966-1967 SNEA. Back to front and left to right is Secretary Sara Tuck, Treasurer Peggy Whitley, two unidentified females, President Benny Character, and First Vice-President Gail Graben.
