These ROTC Cadets are believed to be Cadet Major Thomas Monroe, Cadet Lieutenant Terry Carr, Cadet Platoon Sergeant Jimmy Clark, and Cadet Private Leonard Messner. These four cadets were presented outstanding Cadet Awards from Company "B", Ninth Regiment, and the National Society of Scabbard and Blade at Military Awards Day on the Jacksonville State University campus on January 11, 1967.
