Unique students at Jacksonville State University in Summer 1967 were Jan Rains and Mrs. Billy Rains, a mother and daughter team attended college together. Mrs. Rains was a teacher at Sardis doing advanced work in library science. Jan Rains was a high school student getting a head start and enrolled in a few college classes. Shown they are meeting other students between classes, Amelia Watts on left and Ted McDow on right. (circa June 1967)
