Description

The 1967-1968 Gamecock Baseball Team at Jacksonville State University was under the direction of Coach Ray Wedgeworth and Coach Don Smith. Shown is student and player Jeff McCool. McCool played baseball 1966-67, 1967-68, and 1968-69. McCool was selected Little All America honorable mention by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics after turning in a record of 3-0 in regular season play and recording 62 strikeouts in 46 innings as Gamecock pitcher. He was selected to All Conference for 3 years 1967-69.
