Description

Erected in 1934 and completed in 1935 with Works Progress Administration labor, the building shown replaced the courthouse in Jacksonville, Alabama, which had burned. This new building served as Jacksonville City Hall until the 1970s. The building was then occupied by the Jacksonville Police Department until 2016. (circa 1935)
