Graduation exercises were held January 20, 1967 in Leone Cole Auditorium at Jacksonville State University. 147 students received degrees. Dr. Houston Cole, President of the University, shakes hands with graduate Susan Carter. Carter was the first to receive a diploma from the college under the name Jacksonville State University. The man is unidentified.
