Description
Jesse C. Mizelle was a member of the ROTC staff at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in 1965. Sergeant Jesse C. Mizelle is shown here during a special ceremony being presented with the Army Commendation medal given by Lieutenant Colonel John Brock. Sergeant Mizelle retired after 32 years of military service; the last three years as administrative supervisor to the college ROTC unit.
