John Brock was a Professor of Military Science and Tactics at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in 1965. Lieutenant Colonel John Brock is shown here shaking hands with an unidentified man as an unidentified woman stands between them during his retirement ceremony. A professor of military science since August 1961 he completed approximately 35 years of active and reserve army duty. (circa 10/29/1965)
