These females were students at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in the mid 1960s. In 1965 they were Miss Mimosa pageant contestants. Shown here are many contestants standing on stage at what may have been a rehearsal. Included is Charlene Tarpley, Jeannie Hicks, and Barbara Smith.
