Description
Three men gather at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in the mid 1960s. Standing in the middle is guest State Senator Pete Mathews. The man on the right may be Lieutenant Governor James B. Allen. Senator Mathews spoke on revolutionary influences in state government at JSC in the Leone Cole Auditorium. Mathews was second in a series of addresses that were given by Alabama Legislators during the summer of 1965.
