Buddy Lee Parker was a student at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in the 1960s. In 1966 he was selected for Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. He was also an ROTC Battalion Commander and First Sergeant of Scabbard and Blade.
