Members of Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University)'s Southerners Marching Band drum section are shown here on the grass in front of Bibb Graves Hall. These students are in uniform holding their instruments. There were six snare drums, 2 bass drum, and 2 cymbal players in the 1962 season drum line.
