Description

The Collegian announced on September 27, 1963, the dedication of the new music building, Mason Hall, named for Walter A. Mason. Mason came to head the Fine Arts department of Jacksonville State College in 1945 and passed away in 1959. In the 1960s Mason Hall housed Fine Arts, Home Economics, and Business Education departments. Mason Hall is located on Trustee Circle on the Jacksonville State University Campus. This image shows the architectural drawing for Mason Hall.
