Judye Hughes was a female student at Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) in the 1960s. Here she is shown speaking to the audience from the podium on stage. She is shown with the host and another candidate, Pam Borgfeldt, standing on stage in the background. She competed in the Miss Mimosa Pageant and won the First Alternate title.
