Dr. Ernest Stone is shown standing here with his wife Mrs. Katharine Stone. Dr. Ernest Stone became the Jacksonville State University President in 1971, but in the early 1960s he was a Professor of Education and Superintendent of City Schools. Mrs. Katharine Stone was an Associate of Education and Principal of Elementary Laboratory School. Both served as Laboratory School Directors.
