Commencement was held at Jacksonville State College on May 22, 1959 in the College Bowl. The first Master of Education degrees were awarded to Henry I. Terry, left, and Wendell Eugene Robertson, right. Dr. Reuben Self, director of the graduate school, prepares for the exercises assisting the graduates with trying on their robes. (circa May 20, 1959)
