The senior and sophomore classes at Jacksonville State College sponsored a talent show April 2, 1959. Shown students prepare for the show. Among those entering tryouts were, from left, Ross Caldwell (soloist), Janice Williams (vocal trio member), Linda Turrentine (soloist), Cary Cook (soloist), Bill Gardner (comedy act), and Melba Young (senior chairman of show).
