Description
Shown left is W.H. Kimbrough, superintendent of the Piedmont City Schools and President of the Alabama Education Association, AEA, just before he gave the baccalaureate address at summer graduation exercises at Jacksonville State College held July 24, 1959 in College Bowl. Standing with him are Dr. Theron Montgomery, College Dean, and Major William Brown. Dr. Montgomery conferred the degrees and Major Brown performed the ROTC commissioning.
