Description

Clarence William Daugette and Annie Rowan Forney together lived in the plantation home on the edge of the Jacksonville State University campus referred to as "The Magnolias." The home was built in 1850 by Thomas A. Walker. C.W. Daugette purchased and lived in the house in 1903 until his death in 1942. Shown is the Walker-Daugette House's front exterior behind the large magnolia tree on January 31, 1976.
