Description

Performed: 26-28 May 1975; Pictured: Sherry Kerr; Noel Coward's "Blithe Spirit," a comedic play, was presented by the advanced drama lab under the direction of Mrs. J.H. LeFevre and designed by Carlton Ward. Mystery writer Charles Condomine invites medium Madame Arcati to conduct a séance in his home. Charles' first wife, Elvira, is materialized, but only to Charles. Elvira becomes jealous of Charles' present wife, Ruth. Charles ends up being haunted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira, and attempts to disrupt his current marriage. Items are contained within the Department of Theatre and Film production archive.
