Dr. James Jones, Head of Department of Foreign Languages, was host of the annual meeting of the Alabama Chapter of the American Association of Teachers of French held October 30 - November 1, 1947 at Jacksonville State Teachers College. Shown dressed in provincial costumes are Miles Odette Simon, Jeanne Bonvin, Denise Devaucher, and M. Jean Alhine demonstrating French folk dances.
