Description

Jacksonville State College observed United Nations Day on October 24, 1950 with a special assembly in the Leone Cole Auditorium. A United Nations flag was presented to President Houston Cole for the college by Sarah Sharp Owens, president of the Leone Cole Home Economics Club, whom made the flag. Shown International House students stand on stage with joined hands.
