A presentation ceremony was held March 29, 1973 at the Jacksonville State University International House as part of the General John H. Forney Historical Society annual meeting. A portrait of Annie Rowan Forney Daugette was presented to Jacksonville State by the General John H. Forney Historical Society. Shown Mrs. William J. Calvert, Jr. stands beside the portrait of her mother, Annie Rowan Forney Daugette. Dr. Theron Montgomery, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Jacksonville State, accepted the portrait on behalf of the university.
