Description

The formal dedication ceremony of the International House was held April 29, 1949 at Jacksonville State Teachers College in Bibb Graves Hall. Famed newspaper columnist and radio commentator Drew Pearson addressed the audience at the banquet held the same night. Shown right Mr. Drew Pearson stands at the podium as Col. Harry Ayers and President Houston Cole pull their chairs to be seated at the head table.
