Description

Performed: 23-24 March 2012; Charles Gounod's "Romeo et Juliette" was an opera in five acts, sung completely in French, and included a ballet. It is based on Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. The production was a collaborative effort between the Jacksonville Opera Theatre, the Etowah Youth Orchestra of Gadsden, Ars Nova School of the Arts in Huntsville, and the Downtown Dance Conservatory in Gadsden. The show was directed by Dr. Nathan Wight. Chorus master was Scott Johnson. Access to this digital image was provided by JSU Photographic Services.

Venue

This performance was held in Wallace Hall on the campus of Gadsden State Community College.
