Description

Performed: 5-9 November 1987; "A Soldier's Play" is the story of a black Army company, with a white commanding officer, stationed at Fort Neal, Louisiana, in 1944 during World War II. A black soldier is murdered and an investigation ensues by a black captain. The play was directed and costumed by Alice Morton. This item is contained within the Theatre & Film Production Archive.
