Description
Performed: 27-31 March 1984; Ntozake Shange's "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Isn't Enuf," was an adult play about women. It dealt with subjects like rape and abortion. It was a series of poems recited or acted out by seven black actresses, each of whom had a specific color. It was presented by the drama department under the direction of Douglas Stetz. This item is contained within the Theatre & Film Production Archive.
