Outstanding teachers from across Alabama were annually inducted into the Jacksonville State University Teacher Hall of Fame. Mrs. Dora Perryman (Sylacauga High School) and Adrian McLean (West Elementary School) were selected for the honor. Shown they accept the honors during a program held April 6, 1977 in the Student Commons Auditorium. Dr. Truman Pierce, dean emeritus of Auburn University's School of Education, was speaker.
