Description

The Jacksonville State University Stage Band was a select group of musicians whose interest was American Jazz and improvisation. Under the direction of Dr. Ronald Surace, the 1976-1977 members are shown inside the music building. Personnel were (saxes): Bill Hamm, Jerome Millender, Mike Bolick, Mike Clark, Randal Terry, (trombones): Andy Robertson, Rick Taylor, Howard Hubler, Phil Whitley, Ralph Whitfield, (trumpets): Tom Moore, Scott Holsomback, Don Robinson, Lydel Self, Clayton Morrison, David Adams, (rhythm): Al Rubin, Rick Simmonson, Tom Kramer, (sound man): Joel Burkhart.
