A banquet was held November 13, 1947 at Jacksonville State Teachers College in observance of homecoming. Gadsden Congressman Albert Rains was speaker. Shown are Miss Homecoming contestants, in no order, Sue Parker, Willodean Campbell, Charlotte Claypool, Polly Eller, Margena Casey, Jean Strawn, Betty Raye, Betty Sisson. Miss Betty Raye was crowned as Miss Homecoming during the half of the football game also held November 13, 1947. (circa November 13, 1947)
