Description

This appears to be the construction of Self Hall located on Forney Avenue. In the 1960s Self Hall was the second cafeteria. Today Self Hall is the home of Jacksonville State University's student media and Department of Communication. The Office of Distance Education, Department of TV Services, student newspaper (The Chanticleer), and student radio station WLJS are all within Self Hall today. (circa 1966)
