These students were also Phi Mu Chi Beta officers at Jacksonville State College in 1954-1955. Phi Mu Chi Beta was the Science Club organized by science majors and minors. Shown from left are, seated, Shirley Dunn (secretary treasurer), James Wilkes (faculty sponsor), Ross Smith (president), Blanche Rutland (reporter), and Gerald Poore (vice president). Reuben Boozer (co-sponsor) and JoAnn Lewis (historian) are not shown. (circa November 23, 1954)
