Col. Douglas Cameron of the Third Alabama Military District visited Jacksonville State College December 1953 for his regular inspection of the ROTC. He was assisted by the sponsors of the ROTC. Shown from left are Col. Douglas Cameron, Lt. Col. James A. Blodgett, Harriet Hackworth, Florida Phillips, Willardene Benefield, Mary Sharp, Cadet Lt. Col. Darwin Miller (battalion commander), and Robert E. Rogan (cadet of the week). (circa December 14, 1953)
