Description

Three Jacksonville State University Law Enforcement students were sworn in as members of the Oxford Police Department on May 7, 1971. The students each began working regular police routines accompanied by Oxford city officers. Shown Charles Rose is seated at a desk accompanied by an officer, possibly Oxford Police Chief W.O. Walden. (circa May 7, 1971)
