Claudette Smith was a student and Miss Mimosa candidate at Jacksonville State University in 1970-1971. She was sponsored by Alpha Xi Delta. Beauties competed for the 1971 Miss Mimosa title in a competition held February 3, 1971 in the Leone Cole Auditorium. (circa February 2, 1971)
