The Alabama Education Association Convention was held March 15-16, 1951 in Birmingham. Senator John J. Sparkman headlined an evening session. Shown he speaks from the podium. Identified at the head table is President Houston Cole. Identified seated in the audience is Superintendent of Schools Ernest Stone. (circa March 15, 1951)
