Description

The Jacksonville State College (now Jacksonville State University) Hammond Hall was named for J.D. Hammond, the Alabama legislator who was instrumental in getting the State Normal School for Jacksonville. Hammond Hall is located directly south of Bibb Graves Hall, acquired in 1943. In 1953-1954 it was a cafeteria.
