Awarding of honors to the Jacksonville State College ROTC was held during ROTC Awards Day ceremonies May 8, 1959. President Houston Cole presented Cadet Col. Robert H. Barnard with the ROTC Certificate of Meritorious Leadership Achievement for 1958-59.
